OUR STORY

Welcome to the website for Brechfa Equine Retirement. Located in the beautiful Cothi Valley and surrounded by the magnificent Brechfa Forest, our farm offers a peaceful and natural retirement or recuperation for your horse or pony. It really is a little piece of horsey heaven.

OUR LAND

Covering 150 acres, our farm is a combination of woodland and organically managed grassland. The native flowers and shrubs provide a veritable buffet for browsing horses. Our focus on biodiversity and habitat management has created a beautiful and sustainable environment where horses can live as naturally as possible.

OUR ETHOS

To give your horse a retirement or recuperation that is as natural as possible with minimal human intervention.

They will graze when they want and access shelter and shade when they want,

giving them the opportunity to be horses all day, every day.
